Hi, I’m Ben — the bloke behind The Wood Ox.
The Wood Ox is a veteran-owned, family-run workshop based here in Perth, WA.
I build custom timber and resin pieces made to be lived with, used, and passed down — the kind of furniture that earns its place in a home. I’m building a business with sustainability, quality and collaboration at it’s heart.
WHATS THE STORY
I’m a self-taught woodworker and a retired serviceman from the Australian Army, and that experience shaped the way I work — with precision, commitment and respect for the process.
I have a young family, love a good laugh, and is someone who genuinely enjoys tackling new ideas. I believe great craftsmanship starts with listening, collaborating and letting the character of the timber lead the way.
